Shifting Perceptions
At BlackStone, we’re focused on shifting the perception of the mechanical industry to people who are more than average tradesmen. While we have the certification, the experience and the ability to demonstrate true craftsmanship, we also have something more: a problem-solving mentality. It’s a desire to understand mechanical systems in a holistic way so that we can develop proactive solutions.
In practical terms, we call that “solving your problem before you even knew you had one.”
Recrafting the trade is our intentional effort to elevate the quality of our work and relationships. It reflects an earlier and simpler time when tradesmen took pride in their workmanship and reputations. While this may be a rose-coloured collective memory, it serves us well by positioning ourselves in a way that’s distinct from the tired clichés commonly used in our industry.
