So how do we do it? We work from the neck up. That means instilling a culture that puts the highest value on getting the job done right, not just getting it done. It means putting an experienced and intelligent team on it and making critical thinking job one. It means making it our responsibility to identify and correct problems before they become your problems. And it means letting the goals of the project and needs of the customer provide direction.
Our team doesn’t reach for their toolbelts until they’ve fully engaged the tool on their shoulders.
Have a look at some of the projects below where clients have experienced our craftsmanship in action.
Edmonton Remax Office
Renovations can be recipes for frustration. But when it came to turning this old printing shop into offices, Blackstone followed a recipe that integrated modern mechanical technology with a dated system to produce cotemporary office space. BlackStone was able to overcome the usual surprises that tenant improvement work brings, with no added cost.
Gateway Trailer Repairs
Taking the time to thoroughly understand the unique mechanical needs of Gateway’s trailer facility and incorporating those needs into an efficient building plan paved the way for a smooth project. With needs understood and a plan in place, BlackStone executed that plan from rough-in to post project support enabling Gateway’s office and repair staff to transition seamlessly into their new home.
New Cambridge Lofts – Penthouse Residence
The vision: transform an unused mechanical room on top of a residential tower into a luxury suite. As an added challenge, make it a net-zero space. BlackStone designed and built the required components to create a mechanical system that captures the energy released by the building adding lasting value to the client.
